REQUIREMENTS

To be considered, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Education: Grade 10 / Standard 8.

  • Adaptability: Willingness and ability to adapt to changing operational demands.

  • Communication: Proficiency in at least two official languages.

  • Core Knowledge: Basic literacy to understand operating instructions and notices; sound knowledge of cleaning and maintenance procedures, as well as safety requirements.

  • Technical Skills: Competency in the appropriate use of cleaning materials.

  • Work Ethic: Commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across the campus and the ability to manage time effectively.


DUTIES

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Cleaning: Ensuring classrooms and surrounding areas are cleaned to a high standard.

  • Grounds Maintenance: Performing gardening duties with minimal supervision, including soil cultivation, digging, forking, watering, raking, weeding, edging, pruning, and planting.

  • Waste Management: Emptying litter bins around the campus.

  • Upkeep: Maintaining borders, thoroughfares, and highway footpaths, keeping them clear and free from debris.
