DUTIES

  • Administer and process:

    • Promotions, PERSAL awards, and achievement bonuses

    • Remuneration control, housing subsidies, and official accommodation

    • Leave, transfers, and medical boards

    • Appointments, terminations of service, and disciplinary matters

  • Manage assets.

DUTIES

  • Assist with investigations relating to escapes, assaults, and injuries involving offenders and staff.

  • Arrange and coordinate disciplinary hearings.

  • Compile and type memoranda, reports, and presentations.

  • Perform general office and administrative duties.

  • Manage the electronic document tracking system; acknowledge receipt of documents.

  • Maintain and manage diaries; schedule appointments.

  • Record, compile, and distribute meeting minutes.

  • Exercise inventory control; maintain asset records.

  • Arrange transport and book accommodation as required.

  • Coordinate and arrange work sessions and workshops with stakeholders.

  • Assist with consolidation and submission of reports and returns.

  • Process staff claims.

  • Maintain duty registers; process leave applications.

  • Ensure proper management and control of assets.
